Communication from the Perspective of Scripture
Jessie Rogers is Dean of the Faculty of Theology, St. Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth where she lectures in Sacred Scripture. Widely acclaimed for her insights linking contemporary life with the scriptures, Jessie has published many articles and is a popular speaker at conferences. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Irish Synodal Pathway.


John Gibbons

John Gibbons is a journalist, environmental campaigner and founder of the website climatechange.ie. He is a regular contributor to national and international newspapers addressing the urgency of climate action. A widely experienced contributor to our national airwaves and a weekly columnist on The Last Word with Matt Cooper, John is committed to action and in particular, to holding the media to account on its responsibility to engage with the climate emergency.

Religious Presence: A Touch of the Divine
Una Agnew, SSL, is Professor Emeritus of Spirituality at Milltown Institute, Dublin, whose research interests include: spirituality of religious life; spirituality of the stages of life; and the interface between spirituality and literature. She published The Mystical Imagination of Patrick Kavanagh: A Buttonhole in Heaven (Columba Press, Dublin, 1998; reissued 2018, Veritas Publications). Sr. Una is a founder member of AISGA, a life-time member of SD Europe and a member of CWR Ireland.
