Conference 2022: International “Come and See” Scholarship

APPLICATIONS CLOSED

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2022 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP.

CWR is excited to resume offering its international “Come and See” scholarship for this year’s conference in Cincinnati (Sept. 27-30, 2022). The scholarship is available to Sister and lay communicators who are engaged in the ministry of communication, those who communicate on behalf of a congregation in areas such as Vocations or Justice, or those discerning how their congregation/federation/province may begin or revitalize its communication operations. This scholarship program is open to individuals who are not currently CWR members and have not held membership in the past.

While all are welcome to apply, international COVID-19 travel requirements make this year’s scholarship ideal for international communicators who will already be in the United States and able to attend the conference before returning to their international ministry site.

The scholarship includes admission to the conference, hotel and travel costs, and a six-month trial membership to CWR. Recipients are responsible for the cost of a travel visa, if needed. If you know an international communicator who could benefit from attending the CWR Conference, please share the online application with them. Applicants cannot be a current or former CWR member. The deadline for international conference scholarship applications is May 31, 2022.

Application materials:

Letter of Recommendation: All applicants must include a Letter of Recommendation (500 words or less) from the applicant’s supervisor or leadership.
