CWR Conference 2023

 

CWR strikes out for the Gateway City this year: the 2023 CWR conference will be held in St. Louis this October! We look forward to seeing you at what will be CWR’s 29th annual conference. The theme of this fall’s gathering by the banks of the Mississippi River is “Flowing into Our Future.” The annual conference is a unique professional education and networking opportunity tailored specifically to meet the needs of professionals who work on behalf of women religious. Author, speaker, and podcaster Maryanne Dersch will deliver the conference keynote address, “Courageous Communication.” Maryanne is a leader in the nonprofit sector, having spent 30 years helping organizations communicate more authentically and effectively. From those experiences, she authored Courageous Communication: How Codependence is Making Your Nonprofit Brand Boring and What to Do About it.

The host hotel for this year’s conference is the Marriott St. Louis Grand, which is located in the heart of downtown. We can’t wait to see you in St. Louis!

HOTEL
With a prime downtown location near the St. Louis Zoo, City Museum, Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village, and the Gateway Arch, the Marriott St. Louis Grand is a National Historic Landmark. Room reservations can be made online at the conference group rate of $189 per night using the Marriott’s dedicated CWR reservations page.

EVENINGS

  • Conference kicks off with the Welcome Reception Presented by Ascension on Tuesday evening, October 10.
  • On Wednesday night, enjoy an “evening in”: A Sweet Night of Comedy Featuring Rob Durham. Join us for a night of laughs (and dessert!) on the top floor of the Marriott St. Louis Grand.
  • Thursday, attendees have a free evening to sample the dining, cultural and entertainment options on offer in St. Louis.
