Catholic Sisters Week is right around the corner, March 8–14, 2026, and once again we will unite under the shared hashtag #LikeaCatholicSister, this year centered on the theme “Stories of Hope and Heart.”
Building on the strong momentum from last year, this year’s campaign invites congregations to share stories that highlight the compassion, courage, prayer, and service that continue to shape the lives and ministries of Catholic Sisters today. While the tone remains bold and forward-looking, the emphasis is on the heart of the work — the faith and hope that move Sisters to act.
All resources, graphics, messaging guidance, and campaign materials are now available on CWR’s website:

One exciting update this year: congregations will be able to post directly to the Padlet Story Hub themselves. Last year, I uploaded stories on behalf of many congregations. This year, we’ve streamlined the process so you can easily share your own stories, photos, and videos. Instructions are provided on the webpage to guide you step-by-step.
There are already a few example posts available on the site to help spark ideas and show what participation can look like.
We also strongly encourage you to share your Stories of Hope and Heart on your own social media platforms throughout the week. When you post, use the hashtag #LikeaCatholicSister and consider tagging other congregations so we can amplify one another’s stories across the country.
Be sure to tag Communicators for Women Religious in your posts as well, we will be actively resharing and highlighting content throughout the week.
Check back on the Catholic Sisters Week website throughout the celebration to read inspiring stories, learn more about the congregations, and discover how Catholic Sisters continue to be a force for good in our world.
Let’s intentionally lift up one another’s voices and expand the reach of Catholic Sisters Week by sharing, tagging, and engaging across congregations.
