Brian Altenhofen, Communications Associate, Sisters of Mercy of the Americas

Plenary Session: “Building an AI Policy: Considerations & Frameworks”

Brian Altenhofen is a communications associate with the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. His main role is to facilitate internal communication between the organization and its staff.

Before joining the Sisters of Mercy, he earned a doctorate from Texas A&M University, taught at Truman State University, was a Jesuit, and most recently served as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Mercy High School in Omaha, Nebraska.

He is married to Michaela and has three children. He enjoys sports and coaching his kids and their teammates in soccer, baseball, and basketball. He also tries to attend a few concerts when time allows.
