Plenary Session: “Safe Harbor in a Crisis”
Thursday, October 15, 8:50 – 10:05 a.m.
Dan Stockman has been a journalist for more than three decades, with the first two decades of that spent at daily newspapers, where his reporting resulted in the closure or reform of several non-profits, federal prison sentences for the principals of a mortgage scam, too many state awards to list, and was the subject of a “Daily Show” segment. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Non-Fiction, and his creative work has appeared in numerous literary magazines and collections. He is the author of the 2013 novel “Brood X” and co-author with his wife Krista of the 2022 adoption memoir, “Finding Felicity.” Since 2014 he has been national correspondent at Global Sisters Report, where his work has continued to win awards and praise.
