The CWR Board of Directors met via videoconference on Tuesday, September 17. In the interest of keeping CWR members informed, we present highlights from the Board meeting:
Board Vice Chair Jennifer Brandlon led the meeting’s opening prayer.
During her Executive Committee report, Chair Kathy Gatliff reviewed the agenda for the annual business meeting to be held October 3 at the CWR conference in Mesa, Arizona.
Jean Merry addressed budget considerations while providing the Finance Committee report.
Executive Director Nick Schafer detailed the transition of National Catholic Sisters Week to CWR’s leadership and CWR’s presence at last month’s Leadership Conference of Women Religious assembly.
Nominating Committee Chair Joanne Gallagher, CSJ, reported on the Board of Directors election process.
Cecilia Rupell’s 25th Anniversary Committee report focused on anniversary celebrations at the upcoming CWR conference.
2019 Conference Committee Co-Chair Stephanie Manseau updated the Board on final conference preparations.
Rob Cogswell outlined plans to both announce the 2020 conference site and open 2020 conference preregistration at the 2019 conference.
The Board will next meet September 30 in Mesa.
