The CWR Board of Directors met via videoconference on Thursday, June 23. In the interest of keeping members informed, we present highlights from that meeting:

Alison Lucci was appointed the Board’s new Corporate Secretary. Alison succeeds Sr. Patricia Lenihan in that position.

Additions to CWR Policies and Procedures covering CWR’s fiscal agent of record and the CWR Discord server were approved by the Board. Board Vice Chair Siobhan O’Neill Meluso provided the new language for the fiscal agent policy, while Membership Committee Co-Chair Dusty Krikau contributed the Discord policy.

CWR Executive Director Ginny Hizer informed the Board that the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious will share CWR Conference 2022 information with its membership. Ginny also noted that she and CWR Business Operations Manager Michelle Izguerra would attend the national meeting of Asociación de Hermanas Latinas Misioneras en América June 29-July 3 in San Antonio.

In her role as Conference 2022 Committee Co-Chair, Siobhan O’Neill Meluso informed the Board that the conference mobile app is available for download.

Veronica Brown updated the Board on her plans to seek volunteers for the Conference 2023 Committee.

Marketing Committee Chair Stacy Spitler reviewed results of the 2022 Catholic Sisters Week evaluation survey.

The meeting concluded with the Board’s monthly round-up of action items identified during its prior meeting.

The Board next meets on Thursday, July 28.
