The CWR Board of Directors met via videoconference on Thursday, April 28. In the interest of keeping members informed, we present highlights from that meeting:

The opening prayer led by Veronica Brown featured the short film Bearing Fruit by Phuc Luu.

Chair Kim Westerman informed the Board that Sr. Patricia Lenihan has resigned her position on the Board due to an increase in her congregational responsibilities.

Kim Westerman also noted that a revised CWR conference planning guide would soon be shared with Board members.

CWR Business Operations Manager Michelle Izguerra updated the Board on the site selection process for the 2023 CWR conference.

Results of Board member personality tests focusing on problem-solving styles were reviewed.

CWR Executive Director Ginny Hizer will attend the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s annual convening in Long Beach, California, May 18-21. In addition, Ginny Hizer detailed a series of recent and upcoming CWR educational offerings, including multiple webinars and Flash Conversations as well as CWR Ireland’s April 30 (online) conference.

Siobhan O’Neill Meluso informed the Board that she would join with her Conference 2022 Committee Co-Chair Erin Reder and committee member Michelle Bley in leading conference marketing efforts.

The meeting closed after the Board’s regular review of progress made on action items identified during the prior month’s meeting.

The Board next meets May 26 via videoconference.
