Finalists for the 2023 CWR Communicator Awards have been selected in three categories with winners to be announced on Wednesday, October 11, and Thursday, October 12, at the 2023 CWR Conference in St. Louis. The 11 nominated entries found here will also be on display during the upcoming conference at the Marriott St. Louis Grand. The CWR Communicator Awards recognize the important role that communicators play in advancing the understanding and mission of women religious.
The judges for this year’s awards program are former Religious Formation Conference Executive Director Ellen Dauwer, SC; former CWR Board Chair Julie Gilberto-Brady; and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Chaplain Fr. Larry Rice, CSP.
Awards are presented each fall at the annual CWR conference, a unique professional education and networking opportunity tailored specifically to meet the needs of professionals who work on behalf of women religious. Registration is currently open for this year’s 29th annual conference in St. Louis, which will be held October 10–13 with the theme “Flowing into Our Future.”
