Finalists Announced for 2024 CWR Communicator Awards

Finalists for the 2024 CWR Communicator Awards have been selected in three categories with winners to be announced on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, at the 30th Anniversary CWR Conference in Chicago. The 10 nominated entries found here will also be on display during the upcoming conference at the Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites. On November 13, a CWR Academy webinar will feature award recipients and provide the opportunity to learn more about their standout work. We extend our thanks to the record number of CWR members who submitted an outstanding and diverse array of entries for consideration in this year’s awards program and wish our finalists the best of luck! The CWR Communicator Awards recognize the important role that communicators play in advancing the understanding and mission of women religious.

The judges for this year’s awards program are former Religious Formation Conference Executive Director Ellen Dauwer, SC; former CWR Board Chair Julie Gilberto-Brady; and Fr. Larry Rice, CSP, of St. John XXIII Parish in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Awards are presented each fall at the annual CWR conference, a unique professional education and networking opportunity tailored specifically to meet the needs of professionals who work on behalf of women religious. Registration is currently open for this year’s 30th annual conference in Chicago, which will be held October 8–11 with the theme “Navigating the Winds of Change.”
